01

People-centered Research

Our research initiatives provide a solid foundation for gathering information to generate insights into Africa’s past in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary context. We apply multidisciplinary research methods and techniques and engage community members as active partners in research. We tap into local/ endogenous knowledge to generate insight into Africa’s past and present to inform positive future imaginaries.

02

Collaborative Advocacy

We bring together communities, scholars, media, organizations and other stakeholders to work together synergistically to ensure that cultural materials and other heritage assets Africans have been deprived of under colonial contexts are returned to their rightful places.

03

Community Empowerment
